Season 9 did have the Twin Towers episode (which is a holdover from season 8 ) so it's not all bad certainly.

I'd argue even season 7 has its lows. Oh well. But at least you can say the show was still funny until 11. Homer vs. Dignity came the season...

I feel like the show hit its peak at Season 8, where you could start to see some minor dents in the armor. For example, the Sherry Bobbins...

Either way, it would've been better if the show was "that good show from the 90s," instead of "that show that used to be good in the 90s."
