I know for All Might, he's supposed to be an American stereotype of a superhero/"American inspired" which is why the darker skin is a thing.

Who are both bigger, more buff guys (some of the time, in All Might's case). How I see it, they want representation but only in very certain ways...

I'm surprised no one brought up this old gem
