Better video of events, at 0:08 you see the male cop who is shot crawling away but stops because he died. Then the dumb bitch cop shoots the innocent man trying to get away. THEN the shooter comes right around and makes the dumb bitch run away and the shooter is ultimately killed while reloading.

She's probably also responsible for the male cop's death, she didn't follow the orders or what she should do and just hid like the power tripping bitch cops do, plus the french canadian making it worse.
 
So it doesn't seem like the shoot out was targeting Jews it just occurred in a Jewish neighborhood but we shall see, they have had issues in the past where muslims would just shoot into jewish schools. Fyi this neighborhood is one of the oldest jewish neighborhoods in Canada dating back to the early 1700s.

The quebecois police and news say it seems to be a guy who targeted cops.

The female cop was startled (you can see in the video the civilian just "appears") and shot instinctively. I don't think this is a case of female cops being female cops. I think this is a case of a shootout and a cop got fucking startled. Cut her some slack).


I have no idea if she's dead too I'm seeing a mix of two cops dead but some say one cop is dead.

If you're hiding behind cover, and are actively being shot at, and then someone runs at you, you are going to shoot them. It's really unfortunate if the female cop accidentally killed an innocent bystander, but I find it supremely retarded that people in this thread are criticizing it when it's a perfectly understandable mistake given the circumstances.
 
What was that boomer doing, he was wandering around in the line of sight of both the shooter and the cops well after he heard shots right next to him, like a chicken without its head. Yes she´s a professional and should do better but he's not faultless in this (which doesn't make him likely dying any better of course)

But she will go home at the end of her shift and they always tell police, that's the most important thing to do, so she's really a heroine in all of this. Sure, she let her partner die, sure she clipped an innocent civilian, sure she ran away, but she will go home at the end of her shift and that's the important thing in all this.

I hold them to the highest possible standard which is to never take a shot without knowing what they're aiming at and what's behind it. Don't like it, tough shit, do another job like daycare worker. Sad fact is very few cops train enough or have the right mindset to act well under adrenaline without just blasting
 
Update: the shooting was near the main Chabad house in the area and a bunch of hotels. These hotels also had a bunch of world up visitors. Many different possible motives here.

Chabad emissary to Montreal, Rabbi Chaim Shlomo Cohen, told @ynet this evening: "The shooting was at a building located here close to the Chabad House - from the hotel they fired at another building. One shooter was caught, and the other is still out there ." He said that the Canadian police evacuated people from nearby hotels to the Chabad House: "There are a hundred of us here, the volunteers and the people who were brought here. I was sitting in my office, and suddenly the police came in, said that it was forbidden to leave the building, and evacuated people from hotels to us. We are fine."

Canadian media outlets are reporting this evening that shooting was at the the Côte-des-Nieges district of Montreal, a district that has a large concentration of Jews, just as the country is hosting the World Cup games along with the United States and Mexico.
