Wanna know how I know you're gay UFC 250 was a massive success? The morning shows are ignoring it as best as they can and trying to talk about lower gas prices and the Carolina Hurricanes winning the Stanley Cup.
The media has a tendency to ignore the things that make most people happy. If it's not the 250 celebration happenings, it's the fact gas has been dropping down to US$4.00 or less per gallon in locales where it was predicted to go well above $5.00. In my part of Kiwi Land, gas was slightly over $4.00 the last time I passed by my station of choice. Another had it down to $3.90 or $3.80-something, but I almost wondered what was wrong with it. Yet, the media isn't saying anything like they did when the prices were rising.
That the fag left tried to counter program with gay participation trophy school auditorium level singing. It shows they only have power in the perception of social status, and we can break that with women wearing red white and blue flags outfits:
Even if the image of women in red, white, and blue was AI generated, it doesn't change the fact the usual suspects find fun problematic and triggering and come up with alternative events that are lackadaisical and sleep-inducing at best.
I have turned down a few jobs before. Some for people i didn't like. At no point did i go "I'm doing this because of reasons that are going to piss you off and make you come after me". Least you can do is go "i don't think this is going to work out" and drop it. They can't do anything at that point. I feel a little bad for him, but nigga, you ran in front of that bus.
There's a right way and infinite wrong ways to decline a job for whatever reason. When I was offered a job in the past that was only a short-term contract position with a rather onerous NDA, I simply emailed the recruiter and said,
I've decide not to pursue this position. Thanks for the offer.... Saying more beyond that and saying somethign that can be easily deemed offensive is a good way to have one's name spread though the industry grapevine as someone who shouldn't be hired.
What I think caused the whole brouhaha is the combination of the comment and it being publicized. It felt someone was trying to air dirty laundry in public that was best left private and dealt with discreetly. Maybe I'm wrong, though,
Oh no! Lions ate muh face moment!
"It's only okay when we do it to you, not the other way around!" Politics is so tiring.
