Let's be real, Ian is being sued because he's in Canada and Destiny isn't being sued because he's in Florida. It's as simple as that. The laws in Florida would make it a waste of time to sue Destiny, and the laws in Canada make it worth Ethan's time and money to sue Ian. I'm not even going to pretend that it's anything other than that.

The reasons Ethan is spouting are post-hoc justifications obfuscating the truth. He's holding a permanent grudge over the CPS calls and the skulls, and the shoddy laws of Canada have allowed him to target Ian. Everything else, literally all the minutiae of how and where each of them broadcast the inciting message, means literally fucking nothing to Ethan other than it's more shit he can spew to justify the thing which was already 110% justified in his head anyways.

I agree with your theory, but disagree with what seems like you have some sort of animosity for Klein wanting to sue Ian.
