The show will just stop and we won’t know if she’s in a hospital, a facility, living with mom changing her diapers or in the ground. After maybe six months of speculation we’ll probably accept the show is over, but what a shitty Game of Thrones ending that would be.
So the only way we will get closure on the inevitable end is if it happens on camera. I’m not a ghoul and neither are the others hoping for this ending. What we are hoping for is certainty, not gore.
And anyways, Chantal is such a despicable person, it’d be hard to be upset. I’ve been late following McKenzie Shirilla case, but by now I’ve read all the court documents, all the texts, all the prison calls, and that chick reminds me of what Chantal was probably like at 20, only without the delusional parents and the semi-good looks. The stalking, the anger, the drug use, the desperation for her boyfriend to cave to every demand-it’s eerily similar. The only thing that prevented Chantal from going into a blind rage and killing a bunch of people is she got too fat. If those who think she's boring now, and at least want to see her ,go out with a bang' not a whimper over some preceived investment of Time in following her as Cow, or some sense of ,Cosmicjustice', or even just because it would be ,funny' I guess I understand. It's just not something I can really sympathise with. Just like I don't understand a lot of the excessive anger/hatred over many BP Cows who aren't genuine Horrorcows doing genuinely horrific things.
I think there are no small number of people who want it to be on live just for the sake of being there to see the end, not for deep emotional investment reasons or because they want the stinky fat lady to "get what she deserves." The credits are going to roll one way or another. father time is the only father who will ever claim chantal, and her number of concurrent health problems is rising steadily along with her age. Some people are the type to want to see the last episode even if the series kind of sucks now just because a habit they've had awhile is going to be broken when the story concludes. if they aired the series finale of the Simpsons tomorrow i'd probably watch it even though that's sucked for like two decades now.
...that she's been with. She's not altogether wrong, he's certainly more human passing than James or Nader. He's looking rough from a combination of war, lack of filters and only getting a few hours sleep each night, what with banging his new slim young wife and the baby waking him up.
