is there a set time limit for when drafts are deleted? just for future reference

Oh my gosh... people saw the thing... and then tried to use the thing...

They use a "save" icon, "Save" as a word, and have the same name as the feature in my mail client that can store half-written mail permanently...

Since we are on the subject.. Where does it store them? Locally or something? Because i swear i've had them reset before after browser temp/cookie...
