I couldn't say because I never played it (and now can't) but yeah I remember everyone complaining about the stupid valkyrie resurrection sequence...

There was no penalty for death other than the 10 second resurrection cutscene. Solid 6/10 game. Wonky controls. I enjoyed it tho.
