I swear smart phones have made an entire generation retarded.
I blame Steve Jobs for single handedly killing tech literacy. I grew up using computers, I cannot imagine doing work without one, and when I think that there are people that
prefer doing things on their phone,
older than me,
and close to me, I just get full of vitriol. Whenever I have to do something more advanced on a smartphone it's like cock and ball torture. I
need a 104-key ANSI keyboard and a mouse to live, I despise touchscreens and I especially hate the fact that physical phone keyboards have been murdered by Steve Jobs as those would make smartphone that much better to use. Drop in a little mouse D-pad, set it up in Nokia N97 style and you have a fucking smartphone winner. But nah, make everyone retarded with touchscreens, where people fail to use even the simplest touchscreen UI's and can't comprehend that the hamburger menu is universal in apps.
That being said, Dale's brain must be short circuiting due to him typing in the numbers with a keyboard, then putting in the calculation operator with a mouse, and fat fingering both of those. Also not CE'ing before redoing the whole calculation, that was his biggest mistake which led to the fuckup.
Also:
Text calculators are simply superior. Type out your whole equation in one text line and boom, got your result. Again, the more you dumbify your UI's the more people won't be able to use them, it's the paradox of modern UI/UX design.
