They don't make a socket that would fit anymore. Haswell was on G3 iirc, last PGA socket for Intel. LGA is a nonstarter on mobile Not saying it's...

Sure, but neither Intel nor AMD make low power CPUs in an easily socketable package anymore. They're all BGA and BGA sockets are clunky beasts...
