It's just a Glock 48 with extra steps, really, but to each his own. One could argue that the G48 is just a less useful G19, so I can't judge.

Its the same length as a Glock 48 but I find the slide makes it a bit less snappy compared to my buddy's 48. I carry a 19 when I'm not at work...
