There is definitely a contagion of fans that blame Morrowind for casualizing the series and hate everything that came after Daggerfall, I met them...

Arena fans basically don't exist and the only hardcore Daggerfall fans left seem to be mellow gen-xers.

Yes, You know what's funny? they mention pleasing graphics, but I think Daggerfall Unity has made DF age better than MW tbh.

As a Daggerfall fan, I think Morrowind is a good enough game that anyone saying it "ruined Elder Scrolls" is silly. Would have been better to ask...
