💬 Off-Topic Random Trans Thoughts, Musings, and Questions - For all your armchair psych and general sperging

The current trans movement rides very strongly on neo-Marxism theories of oppressors and oppressed
So is modern feminism, so is modern antiracism.

Everything you see in the modern agenda has been indoctrinated by communists since the start of the cold war (or even earlier).

trans is not inborn
There are hermaphrodites: people who have unusual genitalia or/and unusual brain/hormonal patterns. Having actual sexual dysphoria is that, minus the genitals and the chromosomes. I don't understand why people find that impossible.

What you are describing in the post is a phenomenon caused by the popularisation of said condition and the lack of proper medical control. Look at Eastern Europe or Balkans: it's not nearly as "noble" to be trans in these places, but trans people still do exist here. Except in these places it's a 1/1000000 thing, like it's supposed to be.

the vast majority of the people nowadays who believe they are trans would have never even thought for a single moment they might be anything else other than men or women according to the sex they were born as
It's because this is all they see on social media (which is a very big thing nowadays).

they are going through genocide
I agree, that's bullshit. There aren't that many to begin with (even if we include the fake ones).

It's definitely been mentioned before but I'm curious if transgenderism will continue to fall out of favor in the long term. Since the start of this year, I've noticed an influx of desisters and people in general who are more critical towards the ideology so I'd like to see if that'll continue to be the case or not.

Anyways, not exactly related but even before I really came to any conclusions regarding transgenderism, I always found it kind of sad or unsettling to see people commit so much to that way of life for nothing, basically. It seems like in a lot of cases, people are spending extensively on surgeries just to not really look all that different, not to mention the complications that probably come along with that. Aside from that, of course there's also people who put all this effort into presenting as the opposite sex and claim they can 'pass flawlessly' until at some point they complain their day was ruined because someone 'misgendered' them or something. It just seems like a shitty predicament to put yourself in and obviously it doesn't seem like a sustainable way to live. It's kind of hard to imagine how people can even get that far without at least somewhat realizing at some point that it's a pretty stupid idea. Even harder to imagine what it's like once someone's had doctors slice them up.

No matter how hard troons try to look like a woman in the end they're either gonna look like a psychopath or a grown-ass man cosplaying as a little girl. both cases are disturbing af

Late and gay but I need to say this:
Referring to the vagina and uterus as a fucking "coin slot and factory" is the kind of straight up misogyny that instantly IDs AGPs as men. No real woman has ever referred to her vulva as a "coin slot". It's right up there with "roast beef flaps" in the Hall of Fame of disgusting sexist euphemisms for 'pussy'.

Feminism didn't fight for women's rights for nearly a century so that AGP men could dress up like whores, call each other "girlies" and refer to real women's reproductive organs "coin slots and factories". FML that's the kind of language incels use.
moment of introspection: am I being too harsh?
Urban Dictionary recognizes "coin slot" as the asscrack. So this turn of phrase isn't totally unique to this guy.
I'm pretty sure that tran in my quoted post meant the vulva is the "coin slot", referencing the vaginal-uterine tract as the "coin slot and factory". But I could also see men calling it a coin slot. I guess to their chicken eyes it resembles one? (I don't think vulvas resemble coin slots.)

I'm getting all associative now and wondering if the men are too. Does "coin slot" mean women are like an arcade machine, i.e. insert 2 quarters to get me going; or if they mean like a slot machine, where you can BMJ thousands into women and get variable returns? Both are probably true - on a transactional level women are like a vending machine and on a long view they're like slot machines.

Anyway.

And now, a word from an old friend of mine...

ABIGAIL: But this “preference” for a female body is nonsense. You are a male who wants to occupy a female body like a parasite, but you can’t, so you take pills that make you grow pectoral tissue, and you paint your face like a parody of exploited womanhood, and even if you do decide to mutilate your genitals, you’ll still have big hands, and wide shoulders, and you’ll tower over females like a monster.

Society needs to stop enabling these ridiculous delusions right now and instead help you to get over the fact that no amount of surgery and makeup can make you into a woman.

I have never seen, read, or played anything Harry Potter-related, despite the fact that, due to the popularity of the movies, it was everywhere in the 2000s. But recently, due to my hatred for Troons, I have purchased a copy of the first book, and I'm reading it. Hey, it's not half bad; it's pretty easy to read.

It's the multiple-issues-conflated-as-one under the "trans" umbrella problem. There are people born with psychological ~*issues*~ regarding their own bodies, occasionally manifesting centered on their sexed characteristics. It's a bizarre phenomenon, one I'm not convinced should be treated as more "real" than someone who thinks their hands don't belong on their bodies or they weren't "meant to" have vision, try pouring drain cleaner in their eyes, etc. The scant things I've heard from psych professionals say these people have been through the therapy pipeline basically forever, and there's nothing we can do about it because we haven't found the right combination of potions to snap them out of it, so happy pills and constant therapy is the best we've got for now.

Then there's "I'm a weird gross pervert and my unchecked Buffalo Billing led me to think pills and cosmetic surgery will bring the next high", and -that- is something I've yet to see "inborn".

To be honest I get it? Like, the entire point of the genre is channeling male energy through un-male sensibilities, because that's kind of what women like to do, hence the fascination with FtMs. Assuming a masculine persona is obviously a good way of drawing this out; I wouldn't be surprised if earlier fic writers did it before anyone had heard of trannies.
Your whole post should go in the Pooner Zoo thread; people are really quick to dismiss or oversimplify the female half of online fandom, when it's really complex socially.

It sounds really stupid to say, but back in the day someone could RP at great length as a male character and still be a woman, with RP partners who were other women doing the exact same thing, and it was just... understood that everyone was playing the game like that?

In all-female online RP communities, especially fandom, one little-discussed reason it's all yaoi is because how come you get to be the girl character. Even OC communities look askance at joining with only female characters, because they tend to be Mary Sues, and because how dare you have a female character to play house with the one female user who writes great male characters playing your husband.

No this does not make objective sense; I'm just reporting. The other reasons stand: writing male sexual function safely distances you while allowing emotional connection, gay persecution = more angst to add drama.

I feel like anyone studying online fandom and fantasy in young women needs to review the Parker-Hulme murder case, the one Heavenly Creatures was based off of, where two alienated teenage girls developed and cowrote stories about an imaginary kingdom and RP'd as the characters in person and in writing, getting closer and closer to each other with the high of a shared fantasy.

How many groups of adolescent girls have created shared fantasy worlds like that, and we just don't know because it was never written down (and also they didn't kill anyone)? Those two were highly motivated and talented--one became an author as an adult--but now with the Internet, there are much lower barriers to finding another weird girl, or stumbling into a whole fandom or RP group that can become a shared delusion. Some people grow out of the phase and keep fond memories and an improved WPM; some people start the Final Fantasy House.

If Parker and Hulme had been born 70 years later, someone would have pooned out.

Back here again, but I have an actual question. What is it about trooning out that rewires someone's ENTIRE PERSONALITY to be more obnoxious and aggressive? And I mean like before they would've never mentioned their identity in conversation but after they have to CONSTANTLY make it apparent that they're trans?
Part of the reason they are so aggressive is because their beliefs make so little sense. People with beliefs that hold up to scrutiny tend to be a lot less strongly invested in their beliefs because their beliefs are so self evidently correct they don't feel the need to defend them. But if you hold a belief that will fall apart if people are allowed to question it you always have to be on guard.

Anyone want to take a shot at finding it in the cast lineup? I'm super serious guys, this is harder than I-spy on crack.
It's interesting to see a pooner next to a lineup of actual men. She "passes" well enough that if you had just seen her on her own you might have thought she was male, but next to actual men, even flaming homosexual men, she stands out to a comical degree. Even if you didn't realize she was female you would definitely get big "one of these things is not like the other" vibes from this. And that's without showing the relative height so we can see how tiny she is.

Question for the class, what’s the most disturbing aspect of troonism to you? For me, it’s the biological/medical stuff. The surgeries, and hormones especially is horrifying. And the social ramifications of this? it’s like the human body has become so malleable to the point where it means nothing.
The way how troons have treated gay men and lesbians since latching themselves onto the gay rights movement. No amount of allyship or support that gay allies have for the trans movement will ever satisfy them either. Nothing is ever good enough for trannies.

The framing of sexual coercion as bigotry. The erasure of language. The infiltration of their spaces. The rewriting of history.

The list goes on and on.

If gay men and lesbians behaved towards troons like how the trans movement has for the last decade, trannies would go fucking ballistic and we'd never hear the end of it.

Got to see this creep advertising Panera on my YouTube feed, another restaurant I won’t be patronizing anymore!

(Almost forgot to add, that’s the thumbnail they chose for the commercial, I didn’t take an awkward screenshot haha)

Why are troons so bad at doing feminine voices?

Kitboga can do it. Why can't they?
My theory is:

Kitboga is not trying to convince you that hes a woman, so he doesnt force this voice.
He only needs it to be good enough to fool the scammer on the phone, so he only talks with a high pitch filter.

He doesnt really sound like a woman, but he sounds natural because hes not trying to fake as much.

Troons on the other hand they force their voice(voice training), specially since in real life they don't have filters to make their voice pitch higher.

Also, in many cases troons try to imitate women from porn, so they try to talk in a way thats "seductive" which in real life no woman outside of porn talks like that, ends up being even more unnatural and uncanny.

if yaoifags were able to admit the kayfabe to themselves -- as in "yes, I'm just pretending to be a man on the Internet for aesthetic reasons, and no, my work has nothing to do with actual gays, they're gross" --
I don't doubt this happens but real life experience has shown me otherwise. Like, actual gay bar frequenting, flamer skinwalking type stuff.

Honestly I don't think I've really thought too hard about this (at least, not in years) but reading this did click a little. Early girl fandoms were actually around shows targeted to males (Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, etc) and they didn't really have many female characters, and if they did they were usually bland. Now it feels like a bit has shifted, where isekais dominate anime, and they just plunge series with harems or some other goonbait, and so they end up only attracting males (and possibly ends up as trooner material.) I think girl fandoms have only slightly diverged where they'll cling to anime men or inanimate object sexyman characters (sans bill cipher jax) but still only latch onto female characters if its like a reverse harem type thing. I don't know the actual reason why, but it feels like too much media exists just to be a romance fantasy now. An all female cast only attracts the male trooner gooners.

I put way too much thought into the psychology of fandoms, I should do something more productive.

A lot of these girls are of the "any two guys" variety. They're locusts going from whichever trendy and now fandom catches their interest at the moment (a lot of CoD fics are tagged with the "never played the games" tags lmao). They're not genuinely into a lot of properties first and foremost and are just making do with what they're given by canon. This has been the case for quite some time.

There are a lot of anime/manga where there are good female characters and which are aimed at a more female audience. They're ignored because these particular fandom goers explicitly want to write, read, and look up fanart of cartoon boys kissing. The anime you listed are all shonen, as has been the most "safe" and easy to market to overseas audiences. But that's why they're the go to's for these fujos. They're well known and widely marketed.

A good example is MHA. Yes, it's a shonen. But there are a lot of decent female characters. They're completely ignored by the fujo subset of the fandom though because that's never been the point to them. Hell, in a lot of these fandoms they will randomly latch on to very minor male characters too (that loser emo that got nearly immediately killed in JJK comes to mind). So the idea they're minor, background characters that just aren't fleshed out enough to be "interesting" isn't it either. There are a lot of female characters in the background that would be interesting to explore as a what if scenario in a lot of fandoms.

They just want to write about boys kissing. That's all it's ever been.

I think the way they have latched onto the intersex/DSD community might be even worse. These are people with health conditions that in some cases can be quite severe. And the whole field of science and social advocacy that is meant to represent them has been taken over by larping sex pests who want to use them as human shields to justify castrating children.

I used to dislike the term "transphobia". I figured, I'm not scared of them, like an arachnophobe is scared of spiders or an agoraphobe is scared of going outside, I just don't like them.

But then I got into an argument with a proglodyte on Reddit (cringe, gay, I know) who explained to me that the classic psychological definition of a phobia as 'an unreasonable fear of something' wasn't really the only possible root of the word- it could just as easily mean 'a strong aversion'.

They brought up the use of the term in other scientific contexts- for example, oil does not mix with water because it is hydrophobic. Water does not mix with oil because it is oleophobic.

So I really was a heckin transphobe after all. I was annoyed, but I couldn't disagree with them.

And the more I've thought about it, the more I think they were right, that "transphobic" is a great and apt term, when you look at it that way.

I am simply extremely repelled by them, will not readily mingle with them; when placed into a common space I naturally gravitate away from them.

So, I'm transphobic. Sure. I'm "phobic" toward trannies in the way that water is "phobic" toward oil.

What's the problem?
