I do this frequently, although I’ll use the strafe run to pop the shield if I’m low on ammo. I use strafe pretty liberally and you must be playing...

Because the Eagle is cooler to look at.

I can count the amount of times ive died to a friendly strafing run in one hand. Cluster bomb however.......... I dont have the digits for that...

I use the orbital gas and gatling barrage stratagems. For some reason the gas just straight blows up the ships instantly, shield be damned...
