Am I the only one who thinks spending 2 more years on a highly popular game sounds completely do-able if not ideal? Like even if I hate the game I'm willing to put up with it without any angst.

I mean, yeah, but this is Roblox and the average dev is a complete autist often unfamiliar (if not allergic outright) to the concept of work sucking and making your passion into your occupation sucking even harder. Fucker could've at least pushed on through to release the major update that was slated for April-June, but lord knows if that'll happen at all now. I was looking forward to it unironically, goddammit
This also solidifies a post I made earlier this month as being not entirely accurate, but more than prescient enough. Zeal has other Roblox-based projects that people have alluded to that he might still tinker with, but #1 will still be his end. Not that it takes being an oracle to recognize a pattern.

Should've taken the deal. That's what I would have done. The rest of the team are probably faggots anyway who's approval isn't worth very much. That is of course, if this is 8 figures in freedom bucks and not bobux, that would be over a million before tax I'm pretty sure. His loss! But if it was bobux, then I have no idea if it's a good deal or not because I have no idea what funny block man cash is worth in freedom bucks other than that it's a lot more expensive to buy than to sell.

It's definitely freedom bucks—however much that means, considering that Zeal is Danish and has also previously emphasized that he'll run himself empty paying colleagues in the Urbanshade team for their contributions. Roblox games have sold for amounts close to that if not higher, and super-successful games having serious real dollar numbers connected to them almost isn't news anymore. I remember Adopt Me! making job postings offering salaries in the 100-125,000 USD/yr range for certain positions, and that was years ago. You're also correct that robux is worth fuck all via the legal exchange method, though.
Unrelated: the Forsaken meltdown has apparently reached so far that it revived an otherwise-dead exploiting group referenced in the killer C00LKIDD (so they could ask to have said killer removed from the game), but the most I've seen about that so far is a near-contextless screenshot of a forwarded Discord message.

Here are the twitter accounts of bobocord admin "darkral". Note that both are private. Despite this, you can still read peoples' replies to his twitter accounts - something which very visibly shows that he has had (and may still have) suicidal and/or self-harming tendencies. Considering he is an admin for a roblox EPI ring, I believe looking into this would certainly be worthwhile. Note that he also seems to have mentioned something pertaining to zoophilia on his private account - something I shall post evidence of here. He seems like a very interesting fellow indeed. Not only does he help run a roblox EPI ring, but he also ERPs in front of children and posts EPI content regularly. Attached are some screenshots displaying his nasty behavior.
Also of note here is that he seems to be friends with a certain "alex spherebob" person. Alex spherebob, for context, is a 19 year old band kid twitter gimmick guy (apologies for the rather crude description, though it is the best way I can describe him). Considering this person is friends with an admin for a roblox EPI ring, and is himself followed by mostly children, I do think this ought to raise a few eyebrows. I am NOT saying conclusively that this alex spherebob person is in any way, shape, or form related to this at all (as I have not found any evidence pointing to that as of now), but this is still something worth looking into.
EDIT: This "darkral" person appears to be from Florida.

Zeal uploaded a clarification video to the official Urbanshade YouTube channel within the last 5-10 minutes. That's what upsets me what with all the sudden yaoi art of 1x1x1x1, Shedletsky (Telamon), Builderman, c00lkidd, etc. They got turned into gay icons with minors who probably didn't even know the existence of Personal Servers on Roblox. These people spit in the face of the legacy of what old Roblox was and used it for their lousy fanfics, lame moodboards, and shipping wars. It genuinely upsets me as an old player myself seeing these people who are probably no less younger than 13-17 treating a relic of history like this.
I'm sounding like an autist right now but what else can you do when you see something you remember and favored for so long be turned into something like this? How else can I feel knowing that people are gonna start thinking of the yaoi fanfics and the Tumblr users when they think of these legacy characters and people?
Are there even any modern Roblox games that's actually respectful to old Roblox characters that isn't trying to sprinkle some qurkiness into them (an exception is Telamon since well, he always was a quirky sort of person. But in the way that felt genuine and not well... forced, if that make sense)? I would very much like to know.

God, I deplore those sort of people, too. Acting like they know anything about the old internet and the way it was "ran". They wouldn't survive a 2000s/early 2010s imageboard whatsoever.
