It might be on purpose. Maybe Grandma nodded along with both "she" and "they". Some genderspecials want people to use all of their pronouns.

Not to mention, the grandma probably doesn't speak English and probably answers to "they" "her" or even "he" regardless. Filipino language doesn't...
