these fucking devs (im thinking of this happening to me in fallout 4 too) need to revamp their dialogue options so you have the option to expand...

I get that this is a character motivation, but it's not a player motivation. I don't have any reason as a player to care about some random NPCs...

The issue is that it's a very specific claim. I've seen it made both here and on RPG Codex, where I've also seen another similarly specific claim...
