It's best to pretend that it doesn't exist. Even bad Sonic games have "something" that people remember it for like a good music track but Shuffle...

Given that Sonic Dream Team invented its own canon about the dream world that disregards Lumina and Maginaryworld, I'd say it hasn't been canon...
