Never played Xenoblade, but I guess you could take the gold and not plan on spending it for now?

I'd just take it. Why not? Its the devs basically thanking you for playing their games.

I have 100% Xenoblade 1 on each platform it released. The gold really does nothing, since all the good gear is acquired from unique enemies. Go...
