I believe you are correct. Looking through the Facebook friends of Joost Eggelaar, he is friends of /u/drewiepoodle.

Eggelaar is not that common of a name in in the Netherlands, and a cursory search also pulls up a "Marli Eggelaar" who is also from the same town...
