Well, other franchises have no problem releasing games with the same name. So maybe the same way we have Doom 93 and Doom 16, or Tomb Raider 96...

The other possibility is that they drop the numbers part, i.e. the 2016 Hitman game is just titled Hitman, the 2013 SimCity game is just SimCity...
