They really did let Sam Raimi loose. The movie is almost Evil Dead 4. Though every once in awhile you can spot the "pre-built" action scenes.

Rami is wasted on the film, but when you feel his style, it works. I'd watch only if you like his work a great deal. Some of it is brutal...
