ID4 must be one of the last blockbusters to rely mainly on practical effects, I have the 4k version and on the whole it still looks good today...

I'd rather they stick to reviewing stuff they are passionate about or stuff they really hate instead of just reviewing some generic superhero film...

ID4 is fun, but it was really perfected in Pacific Rim which has its storybeats down TIGHT. Finally! Someone else gets it!
