I can live with it - especially since in The Motion Picture's case they were replacing shots that were already jarringly bad or just plain missing...

It detracted from Red Dwarf when they went back for the DvD releases. There was a charm to the models that the cgi could not capture at the time...

I think it honestly did improve the original series episodes. But those were done with a lot of love, and they really helped with some of the more...
