I'm biased because FFX is my absolute favorite, but yes, very. X-2 is pretty different and tends to be a game that people either love or hate.

X is passable if you turn off the sound so you don't have to hear the shitty voice acting. X-2 is unironically a good game, at least gameplay...

Avoid the fuck out of X-2. It's like a fifteen year old girl played X and wrote a fanfic about it.
