my condolences, for real. the goomy line is a neat line and i'd probably have used a shiny sliggoo, so it's a shame that it got away. :C but...

Always ALWAYS save when you see a shiny and turn off auto save. The way the game works, the shiny will always reappear if you have to soft reset.
