Hat in Time is the better of the Two. Yooka Laylee suffers from tedious level design, like DK64 bad in terms of backtracking.

Y-K plays better on later releases (so the Nintendo ones) but HiT still has much better reviews. Hit is probably the way to go. Circling back to...
