I think he hurt his cred a bit (was the jury in the room?) when he objected to defense's opening. He came off as really huffy and petty.

Yeah but that's not tampering. Also.. 1 for 1 is fine but then the guy that replaced her felt the same exact way. The defense probably challenged...
