Troon waco seems like the most extreme scenario, two men getting into an argument and having violence or them getting into a conflict with the town or sheriff's office where they throw a tantrum on video is what I'm waiting for.

I dont think so because in their dumb rescue story they specified the person they rescued was given their number, so it would be an unknown to us I'd imagine.
Which is helpful since that means it can't be disproven or have a slip up in the story since they likely don't exist.

So the conclusion is that Bryan got catfished, probably trying to score with a minor, but instead the catfisher just lead them to some no mans land for the lols instead of being there to fuck them up.

That backpack looks like something my charcter from Ghost Recon Wildlands would wear. Its not hard or expensive to get a cheap radio/headset working. Hell Amazon sells packs of them and all you need is earbuds and you blend in. Hell spec-ops use this set up. But i suppose it wouldn't look cool for your larp ops.
