Except for when they "talked shop" on who not to hire:
"Fast forward to May 22nd, 2013 and Dale North, Destructoid’s editor-in-chief posts the following in a thread titled “You-know-who may try to contact you”, writing…
“Ugh. I can’t tell you what to do, fellow EiCs, but I can advise on what you shouldn’t do. Industry friends have informed me that a certain problem child has been reaching out to some of you”
Nudge-nudge-wink-wink.
Would you be fine with a group of influential newspaper editors sitting and "talking shop" on a private list? Or influential people and editors in the tech press?
Ask any journalist what he'd say to a private list like that, and he'd say that it seems shady as fuck. And even if it just was for talking shop, you still shouldn't do it because of the possibility of collusion.
Who cares, it sounds like a bunch of innuendo from a bunch of lazy self entitled men. How does worrying about this get you a job or out of your families house?
Does your family know you are online worrying about this stuff and wasting time?
