The comments are still up to read. It sounds like AGP is still very much a part of criminal profiles, which is a relief. It's too common for them to be able to ignore.
Fascinating. Further down, someone posts the statistics about 25% of serial killers also cross-dressing. Asking investigators to ignore the ways these paraphilias lump together is making victims less safe. Maybe cross-dressing is perfectly harmless, maybe transition is a good idea, etc., but psychopaths are drawn to them, and were drawn to them even before there was medical and social support for it. Taking away certain social stigmas allows those kinds of predators to do it more openly.
The only way to offset that is for the community to police itself, which it refuses to do. The community does not want help to make sure only individuals not harmful to themselves or others can transition and legally change sex, and have access to women's resources.
It is like teachers getting angry that they are not allowed to be alone with individual kids because some teachers are predators. "This gives teachers a bad name and stigmatizes them." OK. If you cannot understand why that boundary is there, then you are making it obvious why teachers need to have those rules imposed on them. It's the same if you can't understand why women's restrooms and other people's children should be off limits to you. It doesn't matter that you personally wouldn't do anything wrong; you are proving why there needs to be oversight.
