Actually talking about Project 7.

His face looks bloated.

What a life.
There was a theory from a while back that DSP is holding in his gut the entire time he's playing the game so people don't suspect that he's been eating a truckton of food and gaining weight. It's starting to get more and more believable as the days go by and he's getting fatter.

Chat's moving at a snail's pace tonight. $11/$200. If this keeps up, we're 100% getting a mid-stream emergency tweet.

AAAAND $100 anonymous tip. Verifying now.

How come every time someone mentions low tips here a big tip pops up minutes later? Its almost like..... the whales read this thread too...

"Of course they read this shit"

"All right ladies and gentlemen I just received a verified tip,its a 100$ verified tip, from an anonymous person that said 'vest time' ,thank you to whoever the heck this is *does a dumbfounded face*,I appreciate that the-they purposefully kept their name anonymous,I have no information about them whatsoever, but I did see that is verified,so thank you"

What a lying piece of shit,he can see the name and all the info of the person that did the verified tip but what must have happened is that the person asked Phil to say he was anonymous so he used the opportunity to peddle the lie that he doesn't get any info with verified tips.

There's no way DSP has that level of self-control for 2-4 hours at a time. The man can't even hit the mute button to snort.

My GOD is this shit boring. Every fight takes him like 20 minutes. How do people watch this shit? Maybe it's funner to play or if you actually have things do say during these battles, but maaan...Also no tips since the $100 tip and I have a feeling he won't be getting anymore or he'll get another $100 from an "anonymous" account before the stream ends.

I have a feeling that shirtless cuck will pull some shit.

You know, I didn't have high hopes at the start of this arc, but maybe we're actually seeing a change in the status quo. If this momentum keeps up and the pigroach luck doesn't kick in quite as hard as it has in the past, this could be a slow burn arc with one heck of a payoff. Not bad, writers.

I think the slow burn is inevitable. He literally has no way out of this, he will have to actively beg for tips every single "slow" stream.

The whales may feel special the first few weeks or months in which they're saving piggy, but will they still feel special after 6 months? 1 year? 2? There's no payoff, just and endless stream of money-dumping into a financial black hole. With subs and cheers there were leaderboards and things like that. With only tips, there's nothing. You're just bankrolling an addict.

But on the other hand, I'm not one to underestimate how stupid his whales can be. Maybe they are willing to dump dozens of thousands of dollars on Phil for the following years. Maybe their lives really are that shitty and uneventful that they'd rather do that than anything else.

Still, I feel like the walls are closing in on roachy. Time will tell.

There's this memory I have of DSP saying this, but I don't think I can find it and I rarely see it mentioned despite it being funny as hell. So for one of the years of his tax sagas, he basically said he had to raise money for taxes because he raised so much money for the previous year's taxes that he had to pay taxes on the money raised, thus DSP entered this loop of paying more taxes for raising money to pay for taxes. Amazing.
I know the quote you are talking about, and it's somewhere in this:

EDIT: It's somewhere in the first half, I was listening to it the other day.

Someone suggested Phil get some LED lights for his background.
Phil asks why he would do that - he would just look like every other streamer. They're all just copying each other.
So sitting in front of some foam, and a literal scuffed beige wall that his skin blends in with... that's somehow better than doing something that looks better but is not original?
Is it worth 'being original' when being original is objectively just being worse? What about the PS5 marketing display, was that original? Shilling boxes?
No reasoning. Just abject resistance to doing anything.

He also again said that he was thinking of adding Patron names to the before or after stream scrolls. Good. Do it. It takes 5 minutes. What is he waiting for?
He didn't say, just that he was thinking about it. He doesn't know if anyone cares.
So people get thirsty for tip notifications, but they don't want acknowledgement of their Patreon contributions? Sure looks like laziness again.

Phil, buddy. This isn't going to fly when you're openly asking for $120k a year.

Curious how things that directly affect his money, like animations that display after he receives money, are do-able. I guess shoutouts, wagers, and responding to cheering aren't off the table even though that makes him more like every other Twitch.
Ambient things that improve the stream for any viewer, not just the ones who give him money? Can't be done, don't wanna, fuck off.
And of course, always helps if you can get people to make something for you and never give them credit.
EDIT:
'If it weren't for the anonymous $100 tipper, actually, support tonight would have been insanely bad.' (He's at $119)
'We didn't hit the tips goal, but support was, you know, pretty decent.'
Ah, but you got your $400 today though. And there's no reason to give you a cent more since that money will mysteriously disappear.
The way he is, there is literally no reason for his viewers to tip him at all during the day stream.
Hypothetically, if I was a DSP fan and I hated seeing him miserable, and I was ready to tip him $400, I wouldn't give him the money for his first stream. Instead, if I gave him all that money during the night stream, he would be all smiles and tell me "Well that makes up for the bad stream I had earlier!"
But giving him money before the second stream is even more of a black hole than normal, and that's saying a lot.
