Yes, it's a garbage game, but DSP hates it because it has ANY sex/romance in it, and because it's too graphic/dark for him and in his mind now that he's married sex/romance/violence in media is beneath him. He hates it because he's become some caricature of a quaker in his massive overcorrection of how slimy he was in the past.

I actually think the opposite. The pig is keenly aware that less than five generous open wallets are carrying the Tips Goal every day. And it is making him sweat.
He mentioned it during both begging segments in yesterday’s and the day’s before night streams. By making a veiled but toothless threat that he wouldn’t be able to keep streaming on Twitch if he had to constantly send our emergency begging Tweets. That’s basically pigspeak for expecting other people than the regular whales having to step the fuck up.
He knows it’s unsustainable. He knows that almost no members that used to cheer and sub converted to tipping. And that’s why he gets extremely upset with the “conspiracy theories” about getting doxed via PayPal and why he’s banning any mentions of what type of data is being displayed onto a payment processing system that creates a vendor-buyer relationship. I knew the Tipquisitions and real-time doxing of tippers were going to have a long-term effects in terms of pressuring people to disclose their identity within an ecosystem that is leaky as fuck and known to have a ton of haters who dox supporters. Most people are not willing to become part of the Orbiters thread on the Farms. Cheering and subbing prevented that to a certain extent. That option is now gone and it’s already having an effect.
He’s not desperate yet as support has skyrocketed ever since his departnering but he knows better than anyone else than less than 10 people are supporting him when averaging between 350-400 viewers. That’s a pathetic 2% conversion rate of tipping-to-viewership ratio that make up over 80% of his income.
Anybody else would be terrified at this prospect. But since Phil has coasted on the coattails of a few loyal whales for the last 3-4 years, he’s rather unfazed... for now.
Like I mentioned in one of my previous posts, the loss of aggregate income through cheering and subbing is going to have its impact, but it’s going to take a few months.
Then we’ll get some real gold dust in terms of content.

I have, no exaggeration, seen people in their 80s with a healthier appearance than Phil. I've seen alcoholics with a more rigid face. I've seen senior citizens have overall better cognition than Phil.
He's fucking 39 and he looks like this. It's depressing.

So since Phil is only playing Nier so he can use Automata as clickbait, is he gonna play FFXIV too? That game has a Nier Automata themed raid series and both 2B and 9S show up in it.
If he can bear the WoW trolling enough to get to the raid series (he can't), he might be able to make some of that sweet sweet Nier Automata clickbait bux!

sorry for replying to a post from several pages ago but I just caught up
This thread was the very reason why when I made a profile on Dave, I had to tell my bosses why this dude wasn't going to be a good fit for our client. Kiwifarms WAS linked to Phil and as someone who had no idea who the fuck this dude was or had never heard of the farms at the time, reading a few pages was more than enough to see how toxic this asshole is. Even without the farms, several fan-made wiki pages are some of the first things to pop up when searching his name on google

I dont think Phil is known for playing literal games with his audience. Also the stream sniping would be legendary, so that's probably why he never tried it. Despite knowing full well his audience would carry him and give him all the resources he needs to be raid ready ASAP.
EDIT:
That broad fucking Dunce, Phil just literally asked if the gameplay changes between different playthroughs, and called Nier automata the original game.
In the only series KNOWN for that being its big gimmick in recent memory

You know, recently William Shatner turned 90. And he actually looks better. Like Bill looks old, but I'd be surprised if he dies in the next decade, barring him catching something. DSP is going to catch something before the next decade is up that will do him in or at least permanently "scar" him.
