Phil banking on an inheritance seems like the most short-sighted idea he'd have shat out yet. So much that I hope he isn't realistically considering it.

There's no promise he gets anything until both his parents die, and if his mom outlives his dad, and Phil gets his spending habits from his mom... Phil's inheritance will be a dacaying house in CT and a hoard of HSN junk. And we know he's too lazy to liquidate.

All it will result in is Phil claiming his dead parents were detractors all along too.

I was wondering if Phil had an endgame. Yeah i know but still. This is something even someone like him would have plenty of time to mull over. He gets reminded constantly.

Maybe his endgame is he has a massive inheritance due as an only child. Big enough that hes confident he can retire from his 'job'. Hes holding out till it drops so he can 'win' final victory over the tractors and say. YOU SEE? Im leaving on mah own terms. And then 'retire' with vague hints that hes moving on. That might be what that earlier gin tweet about his future was referring to.
While waiting to get bailed out by an inheritance sounds like a very Phil thing to do, it should be noted that despite his refusal to change certain things about himself in order to save his future, Phil still isn't without a feeling of being stressed out. He just doesn't act on it in a healthy way by getting his shit together.

There is a reason he has aged so terribly since his internet career began, and it's not just from being unhealthy. The stress that he ignores has taken a toll on him, physically and mentally. He worries a lot these days, clearly, it just doesn't yield any actions beyond losing himself in gin and gacha. If he was banking on an inheritance, he wouldn't be so worried. Not even now.

Why does Phil not just quit the gaming shtick and just become a drama channel? At this point, it would actually make him more bank then being a gamer.
He'd have to talk far more than he does along with more directly interacting with his chat. He hates work and he hates the people who watch him. The games are just there as a necessary barrier so he can ignore people whenever he wants to.

I think he would be a poor man's Quartering, which is saying something because Quartering is a massive pussy and sucked whenever he injected himself into anything. Not even Jarbo bad, Jeremy bad.

Phil can't take what he gives. The drama sphere would hasten his premature aging if he dove in.

The inheritance dries up after a year of gin drenched gatcha benders, prompting his "much requested triumphant return to streaming.. YOU ALL demanded I come back, so please support if you like what I do etc."

Oh, but he has! He sends out a tweet whenever there's a big negative gaming story. That's the full extent of the effort it takes to be a drama channel in his pig brain. Fuck editing content, work smarter Jeremy! Just send out a tweet bro!

I don't think he has enough self control or awareness for active long term planning. He is a textbook narcissist only satisfied by immediate gratification like a 5 year old. Explains the easy addiction to gatcha and inability to commit to anything remotely challenging or involving discipline. He will continue until he mentally or physically can't. Physically he looks like death washed over, and it would be pitiable if he wasn't such a piece of shit to everyone around him. He doesn't respect anyone because he doesn't respect himself. You can see it in his body language, constant angry outbursts, inability to take any fault for his own actions, and lack of empathy for anyone that isn't him. Dude is almost 40 years old, you really think he can or wants to change at this point? Honest change takes humility and effort, qualities he won't ever have.

This thread alone has almost 150,000 fucking posts from tons of users. You would think that something like that would be a wake up call for a normal, reasonably well adjusted human being. But not Phil. He would get eaten alive in the real world, and it's everyone else's fault. I've known people like him first hand, and they more often than not die alone, miserable, and unloved. And it's their own fucking fault.

I'm a bit surprised with the tips situation. I had expected the paypigs to hit the goal consistantly for a few weeks. Having trouble only a week into being unpartnered can't be good long term.
It's a really absurd situation all around. He shows up to the stream looking tired, miserable and unwashed and expects a minimum of $400 a day.

Seems good overall for "da trolls" though since every day unless he's near the tips goal we get to listen to Phil whimper, whine and use every excuse and victim card he can until a whale jumps in and is out of pocket a few hundred bucks. 6 days a week, forever. Good luck to DSP and the pigges. I'm looking forward to see if they'll keep it up.

There is zero chance Dave is getting any kind of inheritance. His parents aren't rich and most likely any retirement savings, which I doubt they have that much of given Mama Burnell's spending, they have will be eaten up by end of life care costs.

What about their house though? Guaranteed they have a reverse mortgage on it so Dave won't get shit.

Even if he got inheritance it would be spent in a matter of months and he'd be right back where he started.

He's never had an endgame, nor will he. Anybody with a half-functional brain would have known to save the absolute fuck out of the majority of tens of thousands of dollars coming in over the course of a year, which alone would have been a comfortable retirement cushion by now.

But not Phil. He lives for the moment and can't plan worth a damn. The condo that drained him of money? He literally didn't bother ridding himself of that albatross around his neck out of sheer, pure laziness and nothing else. His 'ten year plan'? He never had any intention of sticking to that beyond remaining a streamer, it was all bullshit he spun to get his parents off his back about finding actual stable employment.

No, as I've said before, Phil is a creature of habit, and his core habit is to do as little as possible and only in so far as something he will directly benefit from. What that benefit is can vary, but such is the case with Kat - there's no love in that marriage, that was entirely Phil getting married to please his parents (to get them off his back), to probably make him forget about Leanna ditching his ass (he did propose to her in an attempt to keep her around after the hospital shitshow), and to have somebody do chores because Phil is just that goddamn lazy.

He could live in a fucking trailer in the shittiest trailer park in the country and he would be just as happy as he is now.

Rewatching some old dsp and I come across this from last year:
"I made a huge list of all the awesome things that were positive in 2019. First of all; I went the entire year and had zero issues with twitch."
Ooops.

The cherry on top of the DOS2 rant was Phil demanding that the chat tell him how to play going forward. If he's going to give up trying to play the game blind, why not take literally 30 minutes between now and the next DOS2 stream to look up a guide? He expects his viewers to do all the 'work' a streamer normally does. Decide what game I play, figure out how to play the game for me, tell me what rewards there should be for getting $X on Patreon, think of what to do after the vest streak dies, etc. His fans had to drag him kicking and screaming into the 21st century with direct capture. He is the epitome of laziness.
-HELP ME or I quit!
-I did help you.
-No, you TOLD me what to do. Be nice to me!
-I paid you to help you
-Blocked.

How many Divinity streams do you think he has left in him? My vote goes to one and a quarter. I'm banking on him quitting mid session.
I don't think DOS2 is going to go away just yet. But he will banish it to a once-a-week night stream slot, which ensures barely any progress will ever be made (and the first 10-15 minutes of each stream will be spent re-orienting himself since he hasn't touched it since last week). In addition to slowing all progress to a crawl, DSP will make the playthrough as boring as humanly possible by getting spoon-fed a GameFAQs guide by chat. This is all done intentionally to punish his viewers for picking a game he would obviously hate. Eventually enough stream regulars will beg him to end their suffering and DOS2 will be dropped. Either that or after like 6 months of this garbage DSP will make an 'executive' decision to terminate the playthrough as it's taking too long to finish the game, there's too many new releases happening right now to fit it in the schedule, and support has been 'really slow' because 'you guys don't wanna see this.' He'll leave the door open with his usual line: 'It may come back some day' (it won't).
