Cahill has done a good job thus far and outlined in detail the logic of every decision, and has repeatedly chided both the prosecution and city civil authorities for their blatant attempts to influence the jury, or the quieter attempts to interrupt and sway the proceedings. He's done a good job in a hard case and just wants to give the jury their weekend because he, perhaps alone, understands the true value of having a nice, relaxing break
