It's shocking how long some of these 600+ pounders can live like that. She's nearly 38 now; the clock's really ticking. She's had recurrent bouts of cellulitis and is extremely allergic to certain antibiotics, so I won't be surprised if that ends up being deadly for her, though there are dozens of ailments that could be fatal for someone in her condition.

they project all the hatred of their bodies from their self inflicted wounds onto the health care system. what a crock of shit. she's lucky that doctors and hospitals have to offer care. if she's so worried about the cost maybe she shouldn't have let her insurance lapse.

I have seen quite a few people freaking out about the concept of eating once a day. Surely they cannot think it means eating one regular-sized meal a day. That would indeed constitute unhealthy undereating, but this one meal is supposed to contain all or close to one’s daily calories. It is a lot of food, provided it is healthy and nutritious, like vegetables, porridge, and cuts of meat, and not greasy junk food that leaves a person empty and hungry a few hours after.
A relative of mine and I have been eating this way for years now, and it is an easy way to save time on cooking and stay trim and sated.

It’s amazing to me that she’s claiming the hospital is doing all this ridiculous shit to her and not realizing there was an actual reason for it. Like she’s complaining about waiting in the ER for 6 hours for a bed to open? Extremely sick/hurt patients can spend longer waiting in the fucking trauma bay for an ICU/neuro/surgical bed to open up for them, and psych patients can sit in ER for days waiting for a psych bed. A stable ER patient who needs IV antibiotics for her fat infection? 6 hours for that is nothing. And then she acts like 3 days inpatient is so ridiculous and unnecessary. Maybe 3 days of IV abx was the best and fastest way to treat her. The denial is beyond strong here. She really doesn’t want to face the fact that she could have died because of an issue caused by her weight.

I often wonder if they could survive in this country of mine. There are bariatric ER (and probably private tbh) but definitely in the biggest cities only, and considering our population spread, it's a luxury for a few.
What I am super doubtful about is that there are any services-accommodations for infinisized cows. They just don't exist here. No firefighters to prey one out of it's bed, def no dentist tables or pedicure chairs
There's no statistics for giants of course, but according to google, the unofficial national fattest woman weighted ~640 lb
Which is huge but hiding in the well kind of huge, not where are all 6x dresses there huge
It's possible to fatten up, sure, but can imagine living here like that, even withou health issues

Earlier in the thread I posted dental chairs rated to 1,000 lbs..half a ton...
Fattest woman is definitely more now 600 lb life had a woman in the high 700s possibly 800s.
Sadly because of the litigious nature of these infinifats we are being forced to accomdate them. The place I work had to get rid of chairs with arm rests beause one threatened to sue for ADA Complaince. Sad thing is she coulda won because ofhow society has become. So now we have armless chairs.
On a more humorous note the armless chairs as not wide so they have to shove two together to fit both cheeks...but alas we did what they wanted no arm rests!

That's whats so insaaane about J and her Comfy Fat Travels blog- geared towards criticism about how non-accommodating spaces are for, in their eyes, completely reasonable 600 lb people. The US is insanely accommodating, even for the West. There aren't rascal scooters on demand anywhere outside the US. Food there is so much cheaper. There are no on demand bariatric facilities in most of the west. See a GP in Australia and they'll just say 'lose weight, obviously'. And since there isn't a healthcare marketplace and the government oversees all of it, you don't have the option to see a licensed nutritionist that will just tell you to HAES it up if you're morbidly obese. Special snowflake-itis is way too enabled in the US. Not to say we don't have our share of FA idiots (my city is the hometown of Fat Heffalump ffs) but to complain that the US isn't 'accessible enough'- wtf

Just for clarification - everything in my post is about my country of occupation only, the good ol’ stillborn of late USSR
So no scooters in the malls, at all; no service person, including taxists, will shy away from saying you're too huge to be accomodated; and any reeeing in reviews about huge ass won't affect potential customers at all, get your freak show somewhere else lol
And half of the population is overweight here, we're not skelly South Korean teens in any way.
But Ash/Tess/Jen sized gals are SOL to live in any comfort here

Damn wish it was like that here. Trying to shop when there's a huge ass scooter blocking most of the row so they can "Rest" is annoying as all hell. Because their place of rest tends to always been in the frozen meal aisle while they gave lovingly from across the aisle at the desserts.

Yes. If you get in a deathfat's way s/he will make a HUGE scene and there is no guarantee that bystanders or clerks will take your side even if you are polite and level headed. Speaking in extreme generalities the fact that you're complaining means you're automatically seen as in the wrong, even if the other person is obviously a spoiled cunt.
