It's actually a really good idea and I hope more people start doing it. Even if odysee blocks your content from their site for some reason, you'll still be able to access it if you've got your own frontend.

I like how Ralph is so desperate for $ he tries to figure out what his alogs want to know about the most and paywalls it. Knowing that a lot of his engagement is from detractors and not unironic supporters.

Xander, AFAIK, is only working on the streaming part of Odysee. He has nothing to do with Lbry.
I don't recall anyone ever saying he quit the beta.
