Simple answer: Chantal lies.
 
Three days ago, in the "spring cleaning" livestream, she filled the blue dutch oven with water and inexplicably put it on the living room table to soak.

In the current live, Peetz walked past that table on his way to show us Sam. Dutch oven is still there, presumably still filled with three-day old slop.
