I think the pro-rape lobby doesn't get enough representation in modern gaming. We need another Custer's Revenge. What politics would you prefer in your games? Cuz you're gonna get some, regardless...
You got Rapelay and the entire Rance franchise, what more do ya want?I think the pro-rape lobby doesn't get enough representation in modern gaming. We need another Custer's Revenge.
Skyward Sword is unironically my favorite Zelda game and I can't wait for the HD version.I like Skyward Sword and aside from Fi being aggressive in the hand holding which is an understandable complaint, I never got the hate the game got online because I still enjoyed playing it and it seemed like a perfectly fine game to me.
new games, need to have a stealth-focused FPS rape game...You got Rapelay and the entire Rance franchise, what more do ya want?
I finally understand who is the intended market for RGB components.I was almost going to throw out my old Geforce GTX 1060, but they're now going for more than what I paid for my Geforce RTX 2080. I'm glad I stopped myself from almost giving into getting rid of old equipment. Unfortunately I can't benefit from it monetarily.
A relative of mine had their kid fry his computer for school, so the card is going towards that, I have an 800watt power supply I'm also bringing. So the only thing I couldn't really source myself was the ram and motherboard. I also gave them a list of cases that are under 100 bucks for budget builds.
but yeah the kid wrecked a fucking apple workstation, not a cheap mistake. I haven't seen the damage yet but he apparently shattered the case trying to open it to stick glitter and bubble solution in the cooling fans so he could have special effects happen while he was streaming for class.
He's like 1st grade and doesn't know what green screen is. He'd like lights for his PC build though.
Your last line makes a good point but I see it the other way. Yeah, Neptunia would work fine as a VN (all of its cutscenes are already styled that way) but adding actual gameplay, as simple as it is, probably made it appeal to a wider audience. VNs are super niche and it probably wouldn't have taken off like it did in that format. The Hyperdimension Neptunia series has one of the least toxic communities ever if you look at it a certain way: it's not infected with stupid cancellation drama and pretty much everyone can tell fiction from reality. Most people know the games are of questionable quality and play it for the ecchi/lewd content, the writing and stellar English dub, and characters for the most part. The music is also pretty good in those games.
Sure there's a lot of ERPers and stuff but I feel like most people in the Nep communities are pretty self-aware of themselves being degenerates from what I can tell. I've never really seen people too actively a part of them who force trans agenda, even if they seem troonish in some other ways besides political opinions.
I guess the fact the games aren't remarkably 'great' as a JRPG, but would be amazing as a VN, make the entry bar much higher and only attracts those willing to deal with that.
Hear, hear. I've been having a lot of fun with Kenshi, Mount and Blade, and other games where you're given lore and can just come up with your own story. Most video game writing is like, really bad. I actually am sort of a connoisseur of trashy scifi books nobody's ever heard of and most of them are worlds apart in quality of writing, setting, consistency, originality etc. compared to even the better written games. Video games are cool when they allow non-linearity and you can choose your own adventure, so to speak and I can then sort of oversee a thin story if I get to make up my own but as soon as they're linear, they're masturbatory fanfic-level trash. Writing by committee is basically never good and I cannot stand linearity anymore. Give me freedom in games or give me death.
Noone cared about him anyways except for his voice being a meme because it was so obnoxious/stupid. Heh.I've never given a single iota of a shit about Waluigi because he's never had his own game and just exists as filler in a series of mostly lukewarm mario spinoffs.
Yeah I'm part of it. I own the Blanc and Vert keychain plushies too, they fit perfectly in my chair's cup holders. (That said I think Compa is my favourite character.)I do agree that the fanbase is one of the most self-aware though, they're also pretty quiet and don't tend to badger people to play the games nor spam memes.
All your base are belong to us. Heh, I actually own Zero Wing, for the record. Set me back about 25 quid, but well worth it, it's a fairly decent space shooter from that era but I'd say its main draw is how amazing the music is <3Oh, right, unpopular opinion. Space shooters like Freespace need to come back. They don't need to simulate a full economy like Elite: Dangerous or X, just give me some fancy starfighters, missions to fly them in, and maybe a dumb story for context, and I'll be happy. Star Wars Squadrons is kind of on the right track, but I'd prefer anybody but EA make them.

I hope they don't do Midnight Resistance because I'm looking to get that game soon (the MD version)People who watch HIDDEN GEMS videos are scum and garbage and only do so to buy up supply and treat games as an investment.
