The hair is supposed to add "to the realistic look of the prosthetic, helping to even further relieve that sense of dysphoria."
Hooman hair option costs $235 (and has written as a con that it is not as curly as natural pubic hair), synthetic is $185.
The first time around I just glanced over that step since it seemed ridiculous to me to want hair there – now more than ever. So many males are grooming and shaving so the thought of somebody wanting that angry hairdo down there seemed crazy. But I guess you could trim it to make it look less... Like that.

The reason why those fake dicks cost so much is because they are all made individually and hand painted/cast so mostly it's in the labor and the body safe materials to make it. Still, it's a LOT cheaper and traumatic than having your leg/arm stripped of skin and made into a meat sausage and sewed on your crotch, only to rot off later.
I'd much rather people be buying these, because if you change your mind then you can just. Stop using it. But you can't reverse a surgical mutilation. Hence why I recommend the prosthesis site when troons talk about wanting meat tube surgery.

Seems like the fact, that if these things - that are less like actual genitals than fleshlights - manage to "relieve" dysphoria, then it's just evidence dysphoria can be relieved with just any kind of bullshit and some focused thinking (like therapy.) If somebody can will one of these frankenstein stitched rotting holes into some kind of coping focal point, then it's fucking triple nuts the way cognitive behavorial therapy is placed so low on the treatment totempole.

I mentioned it in the thread awhile back, but a bunch of FTMs are comically-obsessed with their "dick" size. To increase it, they'll do things like rub topical testosterone cream on their clits, use penis pumps, and do these "manual traction" exercises as seen in the videos above.

This same myth is why it’s somewhat taboo to talk to a depressed person about suicide, or if they plan to do it. And if so, how do they plan to do it?

The thing is, though, (most) people who are actually depressed are not driven more towards suicide by discussing it. Therapists will ask you if you are planning suicide, for example. The key difference is, depression has been studied and treated for so long, and gender dysphoria seems to be in its (grotesque) infancy. Removing it as a mental health condition was the final crack in the dam before this whole freak circus sideshow began. Now therapists are encouraging dysphoria by giving into it, allowing dysphoria to “be right” and letting the mental illness be their life. And society as a whole has to walk on eggshells around these people to keep the charade alive.
I truly think trans people need to stop being treated like fucking babies, by society, doctors, therapists, etc. Depressed people sure aren’t. Or if they are, they don’t improve...

I know I've been in this thread too much because I thought the last set of "healed" pictures didn't even look that bad. Like, sure it looks like it was drawn by a high school virgin who's never seen a real pussy, but you can at least identify it as "two lips with a hole and some meat in between", and at least it's not visibly raw or missing chunks from necrosis. Being able to say "it looks nothing like a real vagina but I can at least tell what they were going for" is already leagues ahead of most of the other horrorshows from this thread.
