A coma is extremely unlikely. Ketoacidosis is likely given the way shes eating though, and if you thought her organs were dying quick before, buckle up, we are going to go to plaid.
That is correct for a hypoglycemic diabetic coma. Hyperglycemic comas are caused by chronically high blood sugar, although usually in type 2s this occurs on people who cannot absorb their own insulin (genetic type 2) not the insulin resistant individuals (fatty type 2). The levels required to push into hyperglycemic coma are levels far beyond what chinny is showing (think 600+mg, or 33.3mmol/l, for weeks or months at a time).
One reference I stumbled on stated that a diabetic coma can happen when blood sugar is either very high or very low. Their definition of 'very high' was 33 mmol/L or more. 33! Her fasting alone that we know of is 16 so I can only imagine what range it's in after eating all that junk.
