Anyone been keeping up with his Miiverse posts? It is mostly him whining that people aren't playing the game the way he wants it to be played.

I would guess it at a McDonald.
Either way we can probably guess it's one of the following
- Something degrading/embarrassing
- Would would be a perfectly respectable profession but Dobby thinks he's too good for it like he thinks he's too good for everyone but Wu.

EDIT: Or a balloon salesman.

Really? Some snippets from the old Detective comics I found say otherwise.

Think of all the poor game developers Dobson is triggering with his callous behavior :heart-empty:

Btw I decided to correct his false 'bat-facts'

For someone with "PTSD" you'd think he'd be more sympathetic towards content creators being hounded by haters. Then again you'd probably not be a heinous turd like Dobson...

The dark knight returns?
The nolan batman films?
Any batman media where the Batmobile fires missiles?

One of the best and well known things about batman is he replaces superpowers with high-tech gadgets.
for a fan of batman he sure doesn't know shit about batman

So Batman never drove a batmobil that used guns or missels, eh Dobson?

Hell even in the 1989 Batman film, he had guns on his car. And Batwing.

LESBIAN KISS!

Sketched during "National Kissing Day" but not completed until now. One of two kissing themed Alex Ze Pirate drawings.

If you followed me on Twitter you might've seen me tweeting about the difficulties in drawing kissing expressions.... That was alluding to this. lol

It is not the worse he has done but the pic has poor composition and it really fails to transmit the characters being "into it". The dark elf girl seems to not care much for the "kiss" as she is looking away to something off frame, and the redhead (Alex?) lower lip is going under the other girls teeth without curving in any way, not only does this look awkward, it flattens illusion of volume with the characters. Yes granted, Dobson is a self proclaimed "cartoonist" but being drawn in a "cartoon style" doesn't excuse some of the anatomical oversights. If a cartoonist is committing to a certain style that is highly stylized and abstracts the anatomy as far as it can go into the most simplistic of shapes then there is very little in the way of anatomical accuracy to be expected. Kind of the way Butch Hartman or Genndy Tartakosky style works.

This cartoon style adheres to the classic methodology of exaggerating features to the point of making of anatomy into abstract geometric shapes as such the characters read as symbols, almost as the iconography used in all manner of signs and the intention here is clear: These are not meant to portray reality in the least, these are caricatures for comedic effect, easy to visually read and communicate humor and slapstick.

It is that simplicity and unambiguity that ultimately makes this style endearing despite its evident lack of realism.

Now compare that to what Dobson drew, in some parts it is trying to be realistic (the neck lines, clavicles, jaw line and hand) and in others it is trying to be abstract (the way the hair is drawn, the head band, the earrings) yet the parts don't come together because there are failures in both: The anatomy he is trying to portray realistically has mistakes as the clavicles, neck and shoulder lines do not work like that (the hand looks like that of a man's and the fingernail shape is drawn upside down) and the parts that are abstracted aren't drawn with clean flowing shapes and lines that are pleasant to look at, and again, the shading is inconsistent.

I believe Dobson could become a far better cartoonist if he went purely for abstract, geometric designs as Hartman's or Tartakovsky's since anatomy has not been and still isn't his strong suit. I also consider that if he went with purely flat colors his work would be far better as he struggles with shading so much. It is not all bad, the color of this pic are acceptable, if the image used purely flat colors and a thicker outline with more varied line weight, it would be far better than it is.

Batman hating guns is a novelty.

As usual, Dobbo hasn't read anything that came out more than a few years ago. Seems to be a common feature among cows.

Kind of reminds me of Enter, actually.

2 Nookie Bear thoughts...

  1. Batman doesn't exist, he's fictitious, a work of the entertainment industry. Why is a grown up man wasting his energy on what sort of equipment a fictional character uses? When I don't like some version of a franchise I just ignore it and watch the one I like, e.g. I hate Daniel Craig as James Bond, so I don't watch these, only classic Bond movies. I also don't enjoy the Christopher Nolan Batman movies, so I watch the 80s Tim Burton movies instead, BUT I SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT BECAUSE IT IS NOT IMPORTANT.
  2. We get it, he wants a Japanese girl to pinch his tummy.

Objectification is a good thing.

It allows you to see a person objectively. Without it, you couldn't appreciate or respect what that person has to offer, the uniqueness of that person's position, or the significance of that person's role in life.

It's how business works. You objectify people to figure out where they stand and where they might fit better. Stigmatizing the objectification of women denies them a working role in the economy. For many years, it truly did.

Patriarchy - men were personally responsible for all objective matters, women were personally responsible for all subjective matters. It was blasphemous to not live up to your obliged role (or to allow those lines to cross), and those who did were undesirables - bums, deadbeats, scoundrels, whores, old maids, and bitches.
While I do agree with what you say, I think you are mixing up objectification (as in: reduce someoneto an object) with "looking at it from an objective point of view".

Well, can't say I didn't warn you.
Still, it made me facepalm the moment I scrolled down.

What is Atea doing with her cheek? Is she chewing a pound of bubble gum? Why is she looking away? Alex sure must suck at kissing, then.
What's wrong with Alex' earrings? Does she wear rubber bands instead of rings?

Also he mentions another image of someone kissing. 10 internetbucks say it's another lesbian kiss.
