I think writing it out is fair. He's doing it to show his work, basically, and most people would write out simple mathematics if it's a decently sized series of equations. But like a kid writing down his recipe for a gluestick smoothie, showing the process doesn't change how stupid it is.
Biden's whole campaign has stated he'd only increase taxes on people who make over 400,000 annually. Lou is extremely safe from the threat of increased taxes. More so if he's the one on SS. Mind you that if somehow Biden can get that passed and it's only on that small percent on people with that sort of yearly income.
Yes and Obamacare was purported to lower costs and "if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor".
I was briefly on Obamacare & it killed me in taxes.
As someone who works in teaching, in the UK they still teach this method for subtraction today.

Then what you get is AOC as president and the fact she could get two terms if Biden wins and dies in office since she'd become the Democrats front runner in the next election. Depending on the view of if that would be better or not.
