Also, I can't tell for sure but I think this is the candle she has. Doing shit like buying $35 candles for 'self-care' or whatever when you're unemployed and living in an expensive city is....not advisable. Candles are great, but surely she can get one of comparable quality for less than that.

I've had the feeling she was gearing up to quietly have bypass. She'll say it's from something else but she has no willpower to eat less, she needs to be physically restricted.

Even being physically restricted may not do much. I have a friend who had bypass (she was far smaller than Tess though) and has openly discussed her BED and admitted she once blacked out and binged so bad she was worried she would have serious issues from it later. And she has no recollection of it. Tess is probably similar, I feel like you'd have to be to get to her size. Otherwise you'd eventually get sick, or so I'd assume.

THIS. It is extremely insulting that she'd claim to have all this extreme emotional trauma from some random undisclosed event(s). You can't just be a cunt and then claim trauma to cover it up. It's not an excuse to be an asshole. If you think it is, get therapy.

Even if she did have trauma, it doesn't excuse what she's done. Plenty of people who suffered childhood trauma are still damn good parents. They don't decide one day that their past is too much and ditch their kid with an ex boyfriend.
