We're not a particularly empathetic bunch, so appealing to the better angels of our nature won't work because we lured those angels to an abandoned warehouse and murdered them. I'm even okay with CWC lolcow stuff, as I've followed it for years, as long as there are boundaries. i think it's okay to have a bit of fun with the stuff people like CWC say, but this thread is filled with outright transphobia and ableism, which is not cool.
