The second shooting was recorded on video, the cop stopped to see why two people were hanging around a library parking lot at like 10 PM

He didn't even have his gun out when he asked them to stay put, like a true kang, the guy took off running, then he turned around pointed a gun at the officer and was shot. It's all on body camera.

Agreed, for the most part. That said, the problem is that all the "our land" claims are overlapping. In Canada the totality of claimed comes out to something like 270% of total Canadian landmass. So it'll never happen.
The first tribe to go back to being neolithic hunter gatherers, eschewing cars, processed foods, and anything made of ferrous metals should get massive landgrants, at the expense of all the other whiners, IMO.

Chances are everyone arrested Federal crimes other than maybe some of the attacks on deputized cops (low level shit where the goal is to just get 'em off the street for the night to stop 'em from breaking shit) and has subsequently been released without charges has flipped.

Notice they're typically charged & released; not charges dismissed.

There's going to be a lot of unexpected van visits in the coming years, as the feds start looking for all those people released conditionally; not one of them walked away clean, even if it was a simple notice-to-appear.

Those types of warrants are the best, because they typically get handed down after some time has passed, usually enough the criminals have long forgotten about it.
