Eurofurence is a convention in Germany which currently holds the title of "Largest European Furry Con." Even though Europeans are generally a little less prudish about nudity and stuff than Americans are, the convention requires attendees to be on the conservative side when in public, forbidding people from wearing "fetish gear".

The following items are explicitly NOT allowed in public:
  • Full-body rubber or vinyl costumes.
  • Costumes that are visibly "anatomically correct".
  • Costumes or accessories related to age-play, pet-play or BDSM.
  • Costumes indecently revealing the wearers own private anatomy.

At some point in the last day, people realizef that this includes Furry's Favorite Sub-Subculture... Babyfurs. I'm not sure where it started, but the Babyfurs got pissed that they'd no longer be allowed to display their art in public or dress the part (i.e. No pacifiers).

On my phone so it's hard to move everything here. Also, a trustworthy source informed me of a story about babyfurs and Anthrocon that I'll share later... Apparently it nearly got the convention kicked out of their main hotel.

Gonna sound like a crotchety old man here, but back in my day people didn't go to furry cons to stand around shitting in their pants and then play grab-ass with all their sick fuck buddies. Back in my day, people only fucked in suits, and in private. We had class. :tomgirl:
 
Really, I don't have a problem if you draw humanized animals for anything non-sexual like for slapstick purposes or variety.

It's when you add in the fucking and the fetishes that make me want to wretch.

Dave complained to the tumblr staff that Kate was using his drawings and Kate ended up getting taken down because the warning from the tumblr staff ended up in their junk e-mail. They came back once but Dave got them taken down again.

Crystalize isnt a furry nor is it dancing duke. Just a derp. Dontcha worry.

His name is Eden something. Hes a big furry entertainer and also makes rubber fuck suits as well as inflation suits (he is one of those sick inflation fucks). Apparently he gets really pissy with customers and has screwed people over in the past.

He was one of my favorite lolcows for a while and is actually how I discovered OPL. :heart-full:
