Valid, as previously stated, used to be a perfectly respectable word, but now I hear it with that bitchy tomboy orgasmic noise, and I can never, ever, use it again. As if whatever has just been said has been vindicated by you, you cunt, for the rest of time.
Anyway, one that's probably just me is the use of "They" as a singular pronoun. I used to do this, but then I started to read classics for fun and found out that for all time until veeeery recently, anyone whose sex was unknown was a 'He', and everyone was okay with that. In fact, it was decided by some board of lady novelists in the 1800s that "he/she" was too clunky, "they" was simply wrong, and "he" was going to be right more than half the time anyway, so just use that for Christ's sake. Now that I've begun to use it, I notice people using "they" incorrectly all the time. Everywhere. And now it's official. Maybe I'm just having my own little petty revenge against people who think that they're 'they's, individually. Ha! Now I'm going to assume you're a man because of grammar.
Also, people who keyspam when they want to express some vague emotion just make me sjdfiahuwe;ga
