🤝 Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

If you're looking for a new family to follow may I recommend this one? They've got everything! Fundamentalist (possibly Mormon as they are in Utah), disabled adopted black baby/white saviour complex, essential oil mommy blogger who thinks the kid is a prop. Not sure what's wrong with the kid, but she basically never wakes up and looks to have microcephaly.

Not LDS, Twilight was written by a Mormon.

Whoa, that “shoving the child towards the camera” shot is a doozy.

I’m also loving the List of Evil. Crystals, yoga and Harry Potter. Brilliant.

Hmm this ones got me curious thats probly not diagnosed as microcephaly because most of her head is normal sized. Gonna have to research and find out what this might be. Well damn that is the severest form of microcephaly closet you can get to ancephaly and still have something there.

Well they can't all be Beetlejuice or Schlitzie.

Edit: Maybe MLIS?

Edit2: Nah, just straight up microcephaly. Plus cerebral palsy and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy. And she's adopted.

The woman has a thing for collecting tard babies, it seems. Keep an eye on her for sure.

It's amazing how normal and kinda of cute she looked as a baby. You'd never think she'd turn into something so oddly proportioned.
Also wtf kind of name is "Harbour"? Jesus christ...

I wonder why that happens (the odd proportions, I mean). It seems like it might be related to medications or the fact that the baby isn't capable of purposeful movement. But I know nothing about these conditions.

I guess at least the poor baby is being taken care of, but I can't help feeling that the mother wants a living doll to play with.

Looks like mommy dipped her fingers in paint and let Luna smear it on the edges of canvas, then added some smoothy drawn lines as "finishing touch".
Curious about those hand movements - could they be conscious?

EDIT: first time post, screwed up attachment

My local news recently did a story about some paintings that were "done" by the animals at the local zoo, which would then be sold, along with a painting made by a person of the animal that did it, as a fundraiser. It was called "enrichment" but I can't be the only person who wondered if the animals really enjoyed it as much as their handlers said they did.

I'm thinking the same thing about this.

It's "behavioral enrichment", although usually it's things like wrapping their regular food up in a cardboard box and brown paper or hiding it around their enclosure to encourage foraging/hunting behaviors, or bringing in different foliage or herbs for sensory stimulation, or other various things to satisfy the animal's natural instincts rather than having them develop neurotic captive behaviors like pacing and overgrooming.

Painting is not behavioral enrichment. It does slightly more for the animals than it does for the potato babies.

But I'm sure it adds to the zoo's coffers and most are seriously lacking in funds. I just hope they practice REAL behavioral enrichment as well.

Even a normal baby at this age doesn't know what the fuck painting is. Maybe if you got finger paints, and set them down somewhere where they couldn't wipe their hands on anything else maybe they'd slam their hands down on paper and squeal. But that's it.

Luna's mom is in for a rude surprise with this next baby (assume she doesn't fuck up again) when it cries and makes noises in general. And has free will and shrieks when it doesn't want organic vegan pea mush that had crystals waved around it.

Paisley is one of the worst babies on this thread. No quality of life, knows nothing apart from lying on her back attached to machines, no hope of any improvement. Just misery.

Edit: here’s an update showing Paisley “tolerating being off the vent”... if “tolerating” means looking pained and gasping for air. And it looks like she might be deaf too, just to make a hopeless situation that little bit worse.

I'm not sure what I find more irritating: The Empathic Dumbass believing that Luna is independently and creatively fingerpainting (more like fistpainting), or that annoying nasal voice that she uses to talk to her.

Is it evil of me to hope she miscarries the second one, so we're not subjected to any more ridiculousness like this?

Paisley apparently has Thantophoric Dysplasia which is a majorly fucked up form of dwarfism:

Thanatophoric dysplasia is a severe skeletal disorder characterized by extremely short limbs and folds of extra (redundant) skin on the arms and legs. Other features of this condition include a narrow chest, short ribs, underdeveloped lungs, and an enlarged head with a large forehead and prominent, wide-spaced eyes.

Researchers have described two major forms of thanatophoric dysplasia, type I and type II. Type I thanatophoric dysplasia is distinguished by the presence of curved thigh bones and flattened bones of the spine (platyspondyly). Type II thanatophoric dysplasia is characterized by straight thigh bones and a moderate to severe skull abnormality called a cloverleaf skull.

Prognosis:

The term thanatophoric is Greek for "death bearing". Children with this condition are usually stillborn or die shortly after birth from respiratory failure. A small number have survived into childhood, and a very few beyond. Survivors have difficulty breathing on their own and require respiratory support such as high flow oxygen through a canula or ventilator support via tracheostomy. There may also be evidence of spinal stenosis and seizures.

Just want to give an idea how screwed up it is to post this. A child with this disorder may be delayed but they arent a full potato baby. That child she is posting about would have the ability to feel the fear and shit associated with lack of oxygen.

Example of an older child with the disorder:
