Its not that he is inciting riots, he is funding the movement via indirect means that cannot legally come back on him. Worse, he is getting DA into positions that further inflame the riots because arrests are no longer decisive. Normally by now enough agitators would have all be put into the clink and remained there until their court dates that there just wouldn't be enough violent people left pounding the streets. Instead in Portland we see the same faces pop up on Andy Ngo's mugshot feed over and over fucking shit up. Funding bail and legal representation isn't exactly illegal, this is why he does it. You won't find comparable shit on the right wing side of the game so this is why you never get any widespread protesting beyond a single day from them. Having resources to do a long endurance run is more important than a single flash, Soros achieves his means via erosion.

I can't help but worry about Kyle's mental wellbeing. The kid is probably traumatized since all the deer hunting seasons in the world can't prepare you to defend your life in a riot against armed rioters. He tried to do the right thing after it happened and got arrested for his trouble, and now he's being smeared as a white supremacist.
His actions are already being used for political gain and for some reason it bothers me. Maybe because he is so young this will haunt him for the rest of his life. I can't explain why it doesn't sit right with me.

I dunno much about Soros, and I do agree that his supervillany is exaggerated, perhaps even encouraged to make anybody criticizing him look deranged.
However, I do remember seeing a video about him where he explicitly said that he has a God-complex or something in a speech or a biography and wants to change the world to conform to his ideas. It was so long ago that I can't even be sure, but anybody who says shit like that and holds that much power and influence is someone to be wary of in my book.
If some kiwi here can find the video or passage where he said that it'd be great, cause I'm not 100% sure of what he said or the context it was in. I'm fairly certain it was in a speech of some kind.

That's literally not the same thing at all. In order for this to be an accurate comparison you would need to have exactly the same pedigree, notoriety and connections that Soros has built up outside of what's currently going on in the modern world. You'd also have to have the same amount of people doing all of your dirty work for you that Soros has, again, built up over an extended period of time outside of current affairs, even outside of when the banking crisis hit and Soros became a mainstay in the mass media.
In all honesty there's probably more than just Soros' greasy fingers all over this riot, however, his Open Society Foundation and everything he's built up has both direct and indirect ties through funding via shell companies, companies that are directly owned, and in some cases via cash-in-hand transactions that we only know about because they're either been caught on video or somebody with inside information blabbed about it, it becomes extremely easy to see why everyone here points the finger at him.
tbh I wouldn't be surprised if anyone adopting the 'I don't like all this Soros bashing' line is just doing it to be contrarian.

fair enough, but I think you're misunderstanding the position that the majority of people hold; everyone who's done wider reading into the topic already knows that Soros himself barely does anything at all because the web that he's established for himself means that he doesn't have to. The groups and organizations that he founded and operate on the principles that he established are what do all the legwork.
